Our mission at Cornerstone Kids is to partner with parents to disciple children through the teaching of God’s Word.
Awana is our Bible-centered mid-week program that helps kids know, love, and serve Jesus through Scripture memorization, handbook lessons, games, and biblical teaching.
The goal of Awana is to help children build a strong foundation in God's Word that will last a lifetime.

Wednesday mornings 10:30-11:30am | DLK Room
If you’re a parent with children that are 3 years old or under, please join us on Wednesday mornings from 10:30am-11:30am for this play group. This is a great time to meet other kids and parents!
Enter through the back doors of the church. There is no registration. All are welcome.
On Sundays at Cornerstone Kids, your child will experience engaging, age-appropriate teaching and activities designed to help them develop a strong relationship with Jesus.
Our Sunday morning curriculum is based on The Gospel Project For Kids, powered by Lifeway: a Christ-centered ongoing weekly Bible study resource that looks at the big picture of God's story; the story of redemption through Jesus Christ. Each week, kids of all ages will follow a chronological timeline of Bible events, all the while learning how each story points to the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Our Sunday morning program is offered to children ages 0-Grade 5.
All our volunteers are screened, background checked, and trained under our Protection Policy. We also provide security before, during and following each service. These volunteers monitor entrances, exits and washrooms to ensure the safety of your kiddos.
All rooms and toys are sanitized weekly.
Here is how our check-in system works:
1. When you arrive at the church, you can check-in your child(ren) at the check-in kiosks either in the front foyer or downstairs by the big tree.
2. Our security staff will check-in your child(ren) and provide them with a name tag and a security number. Parents are given a copy of the name tag that you can show when retrieving your child after the service.
3. Children aged 0-3 can be left in the Discovery Land rooms upon check-in. Children 4 years old and older start the service upstairs in the sanctuary for family worship and will be dismissed to go downstairs to their classrooms at the start of the sermon.
4. If one of our leaders has a question or needs to contact you during the service, we will display your child’s security number on the screen at the front of the sanctuary.
5. After the service, you can come pick up your child from their classroom.
Interested in getting involved in Cornerstone Kids? We'd love to chat! The schedule for most of our volunteers is based on serving for 2 Sundays, then having 4 Sundays off. Opportunities include serving as small group leaders, large group leaders/Bible storytellers, nursery/Discovery Land volunteers and security/check-in volunteers. We have 4 different environments based on ages, so volunteers can lead kids of various ages, from babies, to toddlers, to children through to Grade 5.
Children grow and mature in their faith at unique rates, some faster than others! Here is a resource we've developed to help you discuss baptism with your child to help determine their readiness for baptism.
