Every day, our kids are bombarded with questions: Did God really create everything? Why do bad things happen? Was Noah’s ark real? Why do I need to be saved? Can I trust the Bible?
At Cornerstone VBS this summer, your kids will explore the biblical answers to these questions as they set off on an epic adventure from Genesis to Revelation. Amid sloths, butterflies, river dolphins, and dart frogs, your children will sail along on a fun jungle cruise, stopping at seven ports of call. These ports are the 7 C’s of History: Creation, Corruption, Catastrophe, Confusion, Christ, Cross, and Consummation. Kids will discover how these events shape our world, and they will learn to reconnect the Bible to their everyday life.
Prepare to swing into fun this summer as we head out on The Great Jungle Journey!
Your children will enjoy fun Bible stories, worship songs, activities, crafts and games, and we'll provide snacks and a lunch. For our field trips, we will be travelling by bus to the following locations this year:
Monday – Elmvale Zoo Day
Tuesday – Beach Day*
Wednesday – Funvilla, Barrie**
Thursday – Rounds Ranch Day
Friday – Inflatables Day at Cornerstone
Please make sure to dress your child appropriately each day for the weather, including sunscreen, hats, good shoes, and you can bring a water bottle.
*Beach Day at Bayview Memorial Park, 687 Lakeshore Rd E Oro-Medonte: Please indicate on your child's registration form if you have any water concerns for your child or will bring a lifejacket, etc. for your child. We have booked the pavillion for this event.
**Funvilla: Please also click here to download the Funvilla waiver and complete one for each child who will attend - you can email your waiver confirmation email to Shauna Lee once it's complete.
Payment Options:
If you still need to pay, there are 4 ways you can pay for your VBS registration; if you have any questions or are unable to process your payment, please email Shara.
Option 1: E-Transfer
You can e-transfer your registration fee ($150/child for your first three kids, additional kids are free) to the email address give@cornerstoneorillia.org. Please - make sure to write in the memo line of your e-transfer that your payment is for VBS. There is no security question or answer needed.
Option 2: Paypal
Click the Paypal link below to pay your registration fee ($150/child for your first three kids, additional kids are free). You don't need a Paypal account to use this option; Paypal accepts all major credit and Visa debit cards (just select 'don't have a Paypal account' on the following screen).
Option 3: In-Person - cash, cheque, credit card, debit card
You can bring your payments in to the church office during regular business hours: Monday-Thursday, 8:30am-noon and 1:00-4:00pm. You can also visit the Welcome Centre in the front foyer on Sunday mornings and our volunteers will be happy to process your payment. (Registration not complete until payment is received.) As we are participating in off-site trip events during VBS week, all volunteers are required to complete a liability waiver.
